Quick question. With the internal governor removed from a Honda gxv340, roughly what rpm should it achieve. thanks

I wouldn't take it much above 5000rpm and I would definitely use very, very good quality oil (10/60)

I ran one on my bug like that and never had any problems.

cheers redmax, thought that's what it should be around. just got a fuel starvation problem, not allowing over 2800rpm. will get there eventually .

Make sure the carb is throughly cleaned out.
